New on the MacScouter Website

New on the MacScouter Scouting Resources Online website: The Santa Clara County Council 2007 Cub Scout Pow Wow and University of Scouting book. Also new to the MacScouter, and thanks to Dave Lyons, the author of Baloo's Bugle, are many older Pow Wow books. There are a total of 32 books online now.

The MacScouter Scouting Resources Online website is one of many websites hosted by the US Scouting Service Project, which is dedicated to providing resources to support the programs of Scouting, Guiding and youth groups throughout the world.

What's Happening

March was a busy month! In addition to my usual USSSP columns, the just-published issue of American Scouting Digest has a huge "Ask Andy" section in it. Watch for my first April column, due out shortly. I'll post a notice here as soon as it's online.

New format for merit badge changes on our site

I've revised the format for showing new information in our merit badge pages. All pages on our site for merit badges with changes in the 2007 edition of Boy Scout Requirements have been redone to use the new format.

Sculpture Merit Badge - new requirements

A new edition of the Sculpture Merit Badge Pamphlet with a (2007 copyright date) was issued recently (after the publication of Boy Scout Requirements 2007.

The new merit badge pamphlet has some new and revised requirements for the badge. The new requirements have been posted to our site.
