Centennial Celebration via Ham Radio

KANSAS – Amateur Radio Special event stations WØB, WØS, and WØA will be operating from the Boy Scouts of America, Heart of America Council’s Centennial Celebration located at the Theodore Naish Scout Reservation in Kansas City, Kansas. The event is to be held on September 24th, 25th and 26th, 2010, to commemorate the 100th birthday of the BSA. Operations will be on the suggested Scout frequencies on all bands. The event will also feature four high altitude balloon launches, equipped with amateur radio.There will be a certificate for working each of the stations and a special certificate for working all three stations.
